  2. Match content to search intent.
  3. Have the best answer for the search query on Google.
  4. Ensure you have the highest quality original content on the topic.
  5. Fast page load speed.
  6. Reduce your bounce rate.
  7. Build high quality relevant backlinks.

    2. Match content to search intent.
    3. Have the best answer for the search query on Google.
    4. Ensure you have the highest quality original content on the topic.
    5. Fast page load speed.
    6. Reduce your bounce rate.
    7. Share the page or post on social media.

How to maximise your on page SEO

Write content naturally on social media.

Create videos and embed them into your page or post.

Use keyword-rich anchor text to link out to other resources on the topic.

#1 Ensure your H1 title matches the search query you want to rank for. It’s important that you have a clear understanding of what people are searching for when they use Google. It’s important that your H1 title matches the search query people are using when they find you on Google.

This is especially important for long-tail searches, where a phrase like “how to rank top of Google” gets a lot of searches versus the simple word “Google”. By having your H1 title as “How to rank Top of Google” you’ll have more opportunity to rank for this search query.

When someone is searching Google a lot of people will click on the results that match exactly what they are looking for, so ensure your title matches their question. #2 Match content to search intent. It’s important that you match the content to the person who is searching Google. If someone is searching for “how to rank top of google” they want to know how to do that specifically and your content should have this as a goal. So if you are writing about on-page SEO or off-page SEO you need to show what actions people can take to achieve this goal such as writing relevant quality content and using on-page SEO techniques such as keyword placement in the title, h1 and body of your content.

If you are talking about link building then show what actions people can take to build links such as writing relevant guest posts and contacting blog owners etc. #3 Have the best answer for the search query on Google. It’s important that you have the highest quality original content on the topic. If someone searches for “how to rank top of Google” and you have a page that has 1,000 words with each word written in a keyword phrase as opposed to writing naturally about this topic then when someone clicks on your link you’ll lose their trust because they know you’re not trying to help them.

Do you want to be found on page one of Google?

Start by targeting long tail keywords

,if your just starting out on your SEO journey and have a new website there is no way you are going to get found on the first page of Google for a hard to rank for search term. I am always asked how do you rank first on Google and it takes over 200 different things to be better than ay other page to rank first for a given search term.

For instance Brighton has the biggest SEO conference in Europe and its called “BrightonSEO” and thats quite annoying for any SEO agency that might be based in Brighton like us, and would love to be found for the search term Brighton SEO!

So when we first started out with our own content creation and trying to be found on Google, we targeted long tail but still relevant search terms such as “best SEO agency Brighton”, “Local SEO Brighton” and “Brighton SEO Agency” by getting our pages found and gaining rich snippets for search terms we grew our credibility and then that helped us to rank for “Brighton SEO”.

Answer the search intent the best

If someone is searching for an answer to a question or a particular service or product, Google wants to show the most relevant answer first. So if you concentrate on providing the best answers and matching those to a searchers intent you have a much better chance of being on page one. Even agains a website or page with more authority and backlinks than your page. So always write your content for the best user experience and don’t write content just for the search engines!

So what is SEO?

(SEO) stands for Search Engine Optimization which refers to any activities aimed at improving rankings with major search engines like Google or Bing so that they produce more traffic to websites from their searches

SEO trends for 2021

This article discusses how to get a good ranking in the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages) by using keyword research, backlinks and social media marketing.

I will be talking about each one of these individually.

Why is SEO so important?

Many people are trying to find information on your site through searches engines such as Bing or Yahoo!, and it’s up to you to make sure that they can find what they’re looking for! That means understanding which keywords need targeting and which ones don’t – not just those words with high volume but also less common long tail keywords that might lead traffic elsewhere if ignored.

Google’s algorithm determines where each website ranks for a users search using search intent. Keywords that are highly related to what the user is looking for will have a higher search intent. Thus, keywords with high search volume but low relevance may not rank as well in Google’s results pages.

It is also important to remember that when it comes to SEO you can’t only focus on ranking one keyword – there needs to be a balance of relevancy and targeted keywords across your entire site so users don’t get distracted by poorly-targeted content!

That means choosing which words matter most (based on popularity and traffic) while ensuring other less popular terms or phrases are present too.

Search engines all use page analysis tools such as Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird and Pigeon; these algorithms ensure that spammy pages do not rank highly in the SERP’s.

How Can I Get Found in search results?

What’s in a Name? Your Blog’s Title and How It Affects You Online.

Search engine optimization has been around for a long time, but it can still be intimidating to bloggers who want to build their brand online. Today, we’re going to discuss some basic tips you can use to help your website be more SEO friendly.

What is a blog title and why does it matter?

First, let’s talk about what a blog’s title is. Your blog’s title is the name of your website and also appears in two places: 1.) On your browser tab 2.) In search engine results when people look up keywords associated with your site

Why should I care?

Your blog’s title has a strong influence over how you’re found online. If you write an article titled “5 Ways to Grow Your Business Using SEO” and use that as the header for that post it means that the header will show up like this:

5 Ways to Grow Your Business Using SEO

Now if someone types in any one of those keywords (for example; “grow business using seo”) they’ll see your post pop up in their search results.

If your blog’s title was the opposite – something like “5 Tips for Growing Your Business” then that same person would see this in their search results:

5 Tips for Growing Your Business

Do you see how changing one word can make a big difference in your posts visibility? How they are found online? This is why it’s important to not only think of an eye-catching headline, but also spend some time brainstorming a good blog name. If Google can’t find you with a relevant keyword, you won’t be getting any traffic from them even if the content on your website is fantastic!

How do I build my brand online with SEO?

1. Focus on blog titles and headers

2. Optimise content with keywords

3. Use social media for promotion

4. Blog consistently and about a broad enough topic

By posting regular content on your blog and social media platforms you can grow your traffic organically and positive reinforcement of your brand will come from things like likes, retweets and comments.

It’s also important that you use relevant keywords within your blog content so that search engines have a better idea of what your website is about. For example; if you’re writing about SEO then you should include words like “search engine optimization” or “better visibility”. If you want to post articles like the one above about building your brand using SEO this would be an ideal place to incorporate those keywords (and variations) into the title and headers!

Lastly, blogging consistently will make it easier for Google to recognise what your site covers and where it fits in online. So even if it means posting once a month instead of once a week – keep at it!

How to keep visitors engaged on your website and reduce your bounce rate.

People will only stay on your site as long as they have an interest in what you’re about if they want to read your blog posts.

So it’s really important that you make sure to create a good user experience while they’re visiting your site.

1. Use headers and sub-headers throughout content

2. Include images in blog posts for visuals

3. Break up longer paragraphs of text with lists or subtitles

4. Keep sentences short and simple – people will only read as much as they need to get the information they want from your post, so make it easy on them!

5. Call out specific points within an article with bullets points or numbers which can be easily scanned by readers who choose not to read every word on the page (they’ll still come away with the point!)

If you follow these basic guidelines when writing your blog posts you’ll notice that people will be more likely to share your posts on social media because it’s easy for them to do so.

And finally, have you ever wondered what the Google rank of your website is? Or what your website’s bounce rate is? This metric basically tells you how engaged people are with your content. If they stay on your site or come back to visit multiple times this means that there’s something about your content which keeps them coming back! It also tells you how many times someone has run a search on Google for keywords related to your blog and visited (bounced) off of search results after viewing one page. So if someone searched “What is SEO?” and clicked through to Google then left without clicking through anywhere else on the first page of results they would contribute to your “bounce rate”. The more times this happens, the lower your Google rank. In other words, if fewer people visit your blog from a search engine it means that you’re not ranking as high for those keywords which is bad news! This way, however, you can improve upon all of these metrics and make it easier for people to find your site when they search relevant keywords.

How do I get my website to show on the first page of Google?

  1. There are many things you can do to increase your chances of getting higher rankings in search engines.
  2. You’ll need to make sure that the content on your website is something people want, and if they find what they’re looking for it will keep them coming back for more.
  3. Every time someone types a keyword into Google or Bing, they’re trying to solve a problem – it’s our job as bloggers to help them figure out how we can solve that problem for them and then deliver that solution with great content and SEO (which go hand-in-hand).
  4. Your keywords should be both relevant and competitive so you stand a better chance of ranking higher in search engines.
  5. When you’re deciding on a title for your blog post, make sure it sounds interesting and relevant to the content inside.
  6. Every time you publish a new blog post, make sure you know what your target audience is looking for before hitting the “publish” button.
  7. When someone leaves your site after reading a blog post, they’re telling Google that they don’t need more information about this topic – which means that even if they go back to Google and type the same keyword into search again, there’s not going to be any more results about that particular keyword or topic from this site.

Link Building:

  1. Off-page optimisation isn’t just one thing – it’s a combination of everything you do when trying to drive more traffic to your blog.
  2. Understanding that people are online for different reasons is key when it comes to link building.
  3. You need to know your audience in order to deliver the right information they’re looking for, and then build links in ways that will help deliver them with their problem in hand.
  4. You can use social media sites like Facebook or Twitter, or forums related to your industry, to find new content ideas for your blog each week so you always have fresh content ready for readers clicking on those links. By sharing great stuff with your friends, family and followers on social media sites, you’re helping establish yourself as authority figure in your field – which will make it more likely for people to click the links in your bios and stay on your site.

To sum up, search engine optimisation is a topic that every blogger needs to understand if they want their blog posts to be found online. Those who build quality links across the web that link back to their website stand a better chance of driving more traffic through SEO than those who don’t take time to establish authority in their field. It’s never too early or too late to start building your brand online – you can literally begin building your first link today! Use social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon and Reddit as well as forum communities related to your industry to build links today!
